Check the quad bike. Is it safe? Do you know what to look for? Then ride the quad bike. Do you know its limitations? What you can and can’t do on it? And when you get back safely, do you have a procedure for shutting it down and making sure it’s ready to go next time you need it?
The one day course will teach even the most experienced rider how to operate them safely.
The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
- safely and effectively operating quad bikes
- undertaking pre-start checks and shut-down procedures
- carrying out routine checks and maintenance.
Classroom and practical activities.
Minimum 16 years of age, physically fit, ability to speak, read & write English.
100 points of ID (see downloads below)
- Learning materials are provided.
- Please bring enclosed footwear, high vis shirt (vest available), 100 points of ID, hard hat (if owned), weather suitable clothing and Lunch.
- Tea & Coffee Provided.
From 1st January 2015 each student that will be commencing nationally recognised training in Australia is required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to be able to obtain their certificate or qualification from their registered training organisation.
